An early-evening fire on Thursday, May 9 destroyed 36 units in a Stony Plain apartment building, displacing 50 residents and at least five pets. The Parkland Food Bank has emergency food hampers available to the residents of Sonora Apartments. Please contact us so that we may assist you.

On May 8th elected officials Mayor William Choy, Mayor Stuart Houston, Mayor Rod Shaigec, Coun. Judy Bennett, Coun. Bruce Lloy, and Ald. Bill Steinburg accepted our invitation to tour the Parkland Food Bank in support of National Hunger Awareness Week.
