August was nothing short of amazing! Together, 25 local businesses and organizations raised over 9000 lbs of nonperishable food for families right here in the Tri Region. For comparison, last year’s challenge collected just under 5000 lbs. This year’s incredible response shows the power of teamwork and generosity in action.
Every business made a difference, and in our eyes, every single team is a winner for stepping up to fight food insecurity.

A special shout out goes to everyone who created food drive displays. Our volunteers and staff had the tough job of voting for their favourite, and this year’s Display Award went to the Town of Stony Plain. Congratulations to them and to everyone who brought creativity and fun to their displays!
