2023 Charity Golf Tournament – PFB

The 2023 Charity Golf Tournament for Parkland Food Bank, is one of our signature fundraising events of the year. Your support goes beyond providing a helping hand, but spreads hope and compassion throughout our community!

“The Parkland Food Bank has some of the most amazing, caring staff I have EVER seen at a local food bank. Its very obvious THEY CARE and do not Judge you for needing help – whether it be one time or on going.
Hampers are a lot more than I expected and it’s SO appreciated given the disastrous economy we are in. They do WHATEVER they can to help!
Thank you so much for being there for the people thru the pandemic and the horrid economy.
A HUGE Thank you from my daughter & I. We would be starving if your help wasn’t available.”

Join us on June 23, 2023, for an incredible day of FUNdraising, lots of laughter, prizes and time to connect with friends and coworkers.

Coldest Night of the Year – 2023

It’s cold out there.

On February 25 (from 4:00 and 7:00 pm), Parkland Food Bank Society is hosting the Coldest Night of the Year, a 2 & 5 km winterrific walk in support of our work in the Tri-Region with people experiencing hunger.

GOAL: With your help, our goal is to raise $90,000 by February 25, 2023!

HOW: To accomplish our goal, we’re looking for 40 team captains (of all shapes, sizes and ages) who will recruit 7-8 friends to their team, with a goal of raising $2000 per team. Of course, we’re also looking for a whole pile of walkers to join each of our teams and help us raise the funds.

TOQUE BONUS: Every walker who raises either $75 (youth 17 and under) or $150 (for adults) gets our famous Coldest Night toque as thanks for being amazing fundraisers.

  • 28% of our household visits in 2022 were fully employed families that reported needing assistance due to Low Wages or Not Enough Hours.
  • We are planning to distribute $1,178,875 worth of milk, meat, eggs, and pantry items in 2023. Most of that product will be donated, but we are planning to spend $310,000 as well.
