Parkland Food Bank is looking for motivated leaders to join our Board of Directors!

We’re seeking individuals who are:

✅ Comfortable with Microsoft 365
✅ Willing to lend their voice in public or media settings

12 DAYS OF GIVING FOOD DRIVE

Parkland Food Bank is excited to host its 12 Days of Giving Food Drive this holiday season.

Starting December 1st, 2024, simply add the daily item to a reusable bag. Once your bag is filled with all twelve items, please drop it off at Parkland Food Bank prior to December 18th, 2024.

Help us stock the shelves and bring holiday cheer to those in need!


Participating is as easy as 1, 2, 3!

Step 1 – Check out our list of the 12 days.

Step 2 – Each day add the one assigned item to your hamper bag.

Step 3 – Deliver your hamper to Parkland Food Bank.


Day 1 – Cereal

Day 2 – Pasta

Day 3 – Can of Vegetables

Day 4 – Can of Beans (Kidney, Chickpeas, Black Beans)

Day 5 – Can of Soup

Day 6 – Can of Fruit

Day 7 – Pasta Sauce

Day 8 – Juice

Day 9 – Box of Crackers

Day 10 – Dry Side Dish (Ex. Rice-A-Roni, KD, Instant Potatoes)

Day 11 – Canned Meat (Ex. Tuna, Ham, Chicken)

Day 12 – Canned Meal (Ex. Chef Boyardee, Alphaghetti, Beans N’ Tomato Sauce)


Parkland Food Bank is located at 105 Madison Crescent (industrial park behind Wal-Mart)Please use the ‘Donation’ Door which is located by the large wooden staircase by the large receiving doors.

Join Our Board! Parkland Food Bank is Seeking Volunteer Governance Board Members with Expertise in HR, Real Estate, Legal, or Project Management

Are you passionate about making a difference? Do you have skills in HR ManagementCommercial Real EstateLegal Experience, Board Experience or Project Management? We’re looking for dedicated individuals to join our board as volunteer members to help drive our mission forward!

As a governance board member, you’ll:

  • Contribute your professional expertise to guide our strategic vision
  • Help oversee key initiatives that directly impact our community
  • Collaborate with like-minded individuals to create sustainable change
  • Be located in the Tri Region area

Who Should Apply: If you have a background in one or more of the following areas, we’d love to hear from you:

  • HR Management: Supporting team development, policy guidance, and fostering organizational growth.
  • Commercial Real Estate Management: Helping guide property decisions and resource optimization.
  • Legal Experience: Providing essential legal insights and ensuring compliance.
  • Board Experience: Profit or Non Profitis beneficial
  • Project Management: Leading initiatives from concept through completion with a focus on efficiency and impact.

Our Mission: To coordinate the collection and distribution of healthy food to people in need within the Tri-Region area and connect them to additional community resources.

Our Vision: We are at the heart of the community where no one goes hungry, so families and individuals can feel empowered, supported, and hopeful.

Commitment: Estimated time commitment consists of one monthly board meeting, additional committee or ad-hoc committee involvement, fundraising participation and support, and can be anywhere from 10-15 hours a month.
