Coldest Night of the Year 2026 Was Our Most Successful Yet

On Saturday, February 28, Parkland Food Bank hosted our annual Coldest Night of the Year Walk and it was an incredible success.

This year marked the most successful CNOY in Parkland Food Bank history. The level of support, generosity, and community spirit we witnessed was truly inspiring.

Coldest Night of the Year is more than a walk. It is an opportunity to come together as a community, to raise awareness, and to stand in solidarity with individuals and families in our region who are experiencing food insecurity. Events like this shine a light on real issues that impact people right here at home.

We could not have achieved this milestone without the many dedicated walkers who braved the cold and spread awareness, the generous donors who gave so compassionately, our valued sponsors who stood behind this important cause, and the countless volunteers and helping hands who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to bring everything together.

Every registration, every donation, every shared post, and every step taken made a difference.

Because of our walkers, donors, sponsors, and volunteers, Coldest Night of the Year continues to grow in impact and reach. The funds raised will directly support the work of Parkland Food Bank and help ensure individuals and families in our community have access to the food and support they need.

To everyone who played a part in this remarkable evening, thank you. Your compassion and commitment are what make our community stronger.
