Food Fight 26 at Spruce Grove Composite High School Supporting Parkland Food Bank

Spruce Grove Composite High School  is proud to host Food Fight 26, a week-long event that supports the Parkland Food Bank and the families who depend on it. The event runs from April 13 to April 17. During this time, students and staff will work together to raise donations and bring more awareness to food insecurity in the Tri-Region area.

Food Fight ’26 brings the school community together in a meaningful way. Throughout the week, the school will offer fun challenges, a bottle collection, and a cash drive. These activities help encourage participation and create a sense of teamwork. They also show students how small acts of giving can make a big difference. Because of this effort (and others like it), the Parkland Food Bank can continue offering food and support to local households.

Spruce Grove Composite High School has a long tradition of supporting community needs. Food Fight 26 strengthens that tradition. It also reminds students that many families face food insecurity. For this reason, community-driven events are essential. The Parkland Food Bank depends on donations to keep its shelves stocked. When students and staff work together, they create real and lasting impact.

In addition, Food Fight 26 teaches students how community service can create positive change. The event helps them understand why food banks are important and how much local families rely on them. It also builds leadership, teamwork, and compassion. As a result, students gain valuable skills that extend beyond the classroom.

Everyone can contribute in a helpful way. Bottles, cash, and non-perishable food items all make a difference. Every donation helps the Parkland Food Bank serve people who need support. Spruce Grove Composite High School invites the entire community to get involved.

Together, we can fill the pantry and help the Parkland Food Bank continue its important work. Join us for Food Fight 26 and support families in our community.
