THANK YOU PARKLAND FOOD BANK VOLUNTEERS

Parkland Food Bank would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our incredible volunteers. Your generosity dedication and compassion are the foundation of everything we do. Each shift you give and every task you take on helps ensure that families in our community have access to fresh nutritious food when they need it most.

Recently Parkland Food Bank had the opportunity to attend a special presentation at the Amazon facility in Acheson where we received a meaningful message of appreciation from Edmonton Oilers Zach Hyman. This message was a powerful reminder of the impact our volunteers make every single day and how far that impact reaches.

Our volunteers are truly the heart of Parkland Food Bank. Their commitment allows us to support families across Parkland County, Spruce Grove and Stony Plain with dignity care and respect. Because of them we are able to continue our mission of helping neighbours in need and strengthening our community.

We are deeply grateful for every volunteer who contributes their time energy and kindness. We sincerely thank them for being part of the Parkland Food Bank family and for the difference they make in the lives of so many.

JOIN US FOR 2026 CNOY WALK

The Coldest Night of the Year Spruce Grove is coming on February 28, 2026! We are calling on the community to create a team or join an existing team for this family friendly winter walk supporting Parkland Food Bank. The kickoff takes place at Columbus Park, and every dollar raised helps provide fresh eggs, produce, and healthy food to families in Parkland County, Spruce Grove, and Stony Plain.

We are aiming for 30+ teams this year, but so far we only have 12! Now is the perfect time to rally your friends, family, coworkers, or neighbours and make a real impact in your community. Each team plays a critical role in helping Parkland Food Bank distribute over $240,000 in food every month to families in need.

Funds raised support essential egg and produce purchases for 2026, ensuring families receive well-balanced meals. Teams can raise $75 for youth or $150 for adults and earn the famous Coldest Night toque as a thank-you for fundraising. Participating in the Coldest Night of the Year Spruce Grove is a fun, meaningful way to engage your community, enjoy a family friendly winter walk, and fight hunger locally.

Sign up your team today for the Coldest Night of the Year Spruce Grove and help make this year’s walk the biggest hunger relief event yet.

A huge congratulations to Star Bright Daycare!!!!!

A huge congratulations to Star Bright Daycare!!!!! for winning their category in this year’s Corporate Food Drive Challenge! Their amazing team collected 412 lbs of Canned Soup, helping support families right here in the Tri-Region.

Star Bright Daycare Nursery Ltd. made their donation drive extra special by turning it into a fun adventure for their kiddos, taking them shopping to pick out the soup using donated funds. What a heartwarming way to teach children about kindness and community giving!

🧑 We are so proud of your accomplishment and love seeing how you inspire the next generation of Hunger Heroes! 🧑
