From May 1โ€“28, Parkland Food Bank is hosting a 50/50 raffle to raise funds for our biggest community effort yetโ€”Tri-Region Hunger Day on May 28, where we aim to raise $60,000 and collect 20,000 lbs of food in just one day.

๐ŸŒพ The other half helps us buy essential food for families in Spruce Grove, Stony Plain, and Parkland County

Parkland Food Bank is hiring enthusiastic and community-minded Summer Students to support our operations and events! This position offers hands-on experience in food bank operations, event planning, community engagement, and gardening.

What Youโ€™ll Do:

  • Coordinate weekend food drives at local grocery stores
  • Support community events like Canada Day & Agri Fair
  • Help maintain our community garden (watering, weeding, harvesting)
  • Assist with the 2025 Corporate Food Drive Challenge
  • Provide general support across departments and volunteer engagement

What Weโ€™re Looking For:

  • Passion for helping the community
  • Strong organization and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift up to 20 kg and work outdoors
  • Valid driver’s license
