Coldest Night of the Year 2024

🧤❄️ Join us for the Coldest Night of the Year 2024, a winterrific, family-friendly walk to support the Parkland Food Bank Society! ❄️🧤

🍲 Parkland Food Bank provides free food support to residents of Parkland County, Spruce Grove, and Stony Plain, distributing over $250,000 worth of food every month.

This year, our CNOY focus lies in fundraising to sustain our egg and produce purchases for the year 2024. In 2023 alone, we distributed an impressive 20,273 cartons of eggs and over 90,000 kilograms of fresh produce through our hamper program. These essential food items play a crucial role in providing well-rounded hampers for local families in need.

🎯 Our Goal:

Raise $86,000 by February 24, 2024, and we need YOUR help! 🤝

🏆 Be a Team Captain:

We’re looking for 35+ Team Captains of all shapes, sizes, and ages. Recruit 7-8 friends, aim to raise $2000 per team, and make a real impact in our community.

🚶‍♀️ Be a Walker:

Join our teams and help us raise the funds needed to combat hunger in our community.

🎩 Toque Bonus:

Raise $75 (youth 17 and under) or $150 (for adults), and receive our famous Coldest Night toque as a thank-you for being an amazing fundraiser!

This year, we’re shaking things up to bring more unity and fun to the event. Get ready to bundle up and embrace the wintery night, as the entire event will be held outdoors at our beautiful Jubilee Park in Spruce Grove. We’ll be gathering at the picnic shelter with the red roof for registration, where you can enjoy hot drinks and toasty fires to get you on your way!

Your commitment goes beyond just participating; it extends to making a tangible difference in the lives of those who rely on the Parkland Food Bank. The Coldest Night of the Year 2024 is not just an event; it’s a collective effort to bring warmth and sustenance to those facing hardships.

As we embark on this fundraising journey together, know that your contribution, big or small, is instrumental in shaping a brighter and more nourished future for our community. Thank you for being a beacon of hope and for embodying the spirit of compassion.

Thank you once again for your enthusiasm and dedication. We can’t wait to see you at the event!
