Parkland Food Bank is hiring enthusiastic and community-minded Summer Students to support our operations and events! This position offers hands-on experience in food bank operations, event planning, community engagement, and gardening.
What You’ll Do:
- Coordinate weekend food drives at local grocery stores
- Support community events like Canada Day & Agri Fair
- Help maintain our community garden (watering, weeding, harvesting)
- Assist with the 2025 Corporate Food Drive Challenge
- Provide general support across departments and volunteer engagement
What We’re Looking For:
- Passion for helping the community
- Strong organization and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift up to 20 kg and work outdoors
- Valid driver’s license
