Every donation has a journey. First, our team receives and sorts donated items. Next, volunteers organize products and prepare them for distribution. Finally, those donations reach families and individuals who need support.

During our Parkland Food Bank Open House, you can follow that journey from start to finish. You’ll tour our facility, meet members of our team, and learn about the programs that help address food insecurity in our community.

Whether you have donated food, volunteered your time, attended one of our events, or simply want to learn more, we would love to welcome you. In addition, you’ll have an opportunity to ask questions and see firsthand how our operation works each day.

This community open house offers an inside look at the work that happens beyond the front doors. You’ll see how food moves through our warehouse. You’ll also learn how volunteers prepare orders and support our programs. Furthermore, you’ll discover how local businesses, organizations, and community members help make our work possible.
